- From offer to keysClosing often comes 30 to 45 days after an accepted offer. In between come the rate lock, inspection, appraisal and underwriting, each with a deadline.
- Between approval and fundingA mortgage approval is not final until the loan funds. Keep your job, credit and money steady, and confirm wire instructions by phone first.
